โครงการนี้เป็นการนำเสนอการพัฒนาและสร้างเครื่องมือวัดพิกัด 3 มิติแบบอัตโนมัติ (3D Automatic Coordinate Measuring Machine) เพื่อใช้สำหรับงาน Reverse Engineering ในงานผลิตชิ้นส่วนที่ต้องการความละเอียดสูง

คุณสมบัติเฉพาะ
1) เทคโนโลยีการวัดแบบใช้แสงเลเซอร์แบบจุดฉายลงบนผิวของวัตถุและมีตัวรับแสงสะท้อน
2) เทคโนโลยีการวัดแบบใช้แถบแสงเลเซอร์ส่องลงบนผิวของวัตถุและเก็บข้อมูลด้วยกล้อง CCD (Charge Coupled Device)
3) โต๊ะ X-Y-Z ที่ควบคุมการเคลื่อนที่ได้แบบอัตโนมัติและมีความละเอียดสูง
4) สามารถควบคุมการทำงานผ่านระบบ Internet
5) สามารถเชื่อมต่อข้อมูลเข้ากับโปรแกรม CAD/CAM เช่น CADTIA, AutoCAD
